This Privacy Policy explains how AruvinMart (“we”, “us”, “our”) collects, uses, and protects your information when you use our mobile applications: the Aruvin customer app (AruvinMart) and the Aruvin Business (business) app (together, the “Apps”). By using the Apps you agree to this policy.
AruvinMart is a local ordering and pickup platform that connects you with nearby shops within about 5 km. We currently offer groceries and plan to expand to other nearby shops such as pharmacies and hardware stores. Orders are collected by pickup from the shop, and payment is made directly at the shop — we do not process online payments. For any privacy questions or requests, contact us at [email protected].

We do not collect or store your payment card numbers, bank details, or government IDs. Payment is made in person at the shop during pickup, so we do not process online payments.
We do not use your data for third-party advertising and we do not sell your personal data.
The Apps request location access to show nearby shops within about 5 km and to set your pickup shop. Location is used only while you are using the App (foreground). We do not track your location in the background. You can revoke location permission anytime in your device settings; some features may then be limited.
We share data only with service providers strictly needed to run the service:

These providers process data on our behalf under their own security and privacy terms. We may also disclose information where required by law.
All communication between the Apps and our servers is encrypted over HTTPS (TLS). Cleartext (unencrypted) network traffic is disabled in production. We apply reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect your data, though no method of transmission or storage is 100% secure.
We keep your account and order data for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the service and meet legal requirements. When no longer needed, data is deleted or anonymised.
You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data at any time.
Delete your AruvinMart account in the app (recommended):
Or request deletion by email: write to [email protected] from your registered contact with the subject “Delete my account”, mentioning your registered mobile number.
What is deleted: your account, registered phone number, name, saved preferences, device push tokens, and order history are permanently deleted or irreversibly anonymised within 7 days of a verified request. Records we are legally required to keep (e.g., for tax or fraud prevention) are retained only as long as the law requires and then deleted.
The Apps are not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect data from them.
We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the “Last updated” date above and, where appropriate, an in-app notice.
